To address the increasing energy demands in data centers, distributed multi-energy system (DMES) can provide an efficient solution. This study proposes a DMES coupled by photovoltaics, wind turbines, ground source heat pump, internal combustion engines, electric chillers, absorption chillers, and energy storage device.
In particular, DMES is an energy supply system arranged close to customers that utilizes multiple energy sources to produce cooling, heating and electricity . Wang et al. proposed a DMES with integrated photovoltaic (PV), battery and CCHP as an energy system for data centers.
Wang et al. established a multi-timescale game optimal dispatch framework for integrated energy system taking into account multiple patterns of DR. Currently, price-based demand response (PBDR) and incentive-based demand response (IBDR) are two common demand response strategies.
