In contrast, some studies on regulating a BESS to participate in active power regulations from the perspective of system operations generally consider certain types of services in daily operations, such as participation in PR and PFR [15, 16], SFR , or absorption of renewable energy that is difficult to be accepted by power grids .
The rated capacity (800 MWh) is calculated based on the grid code that peak regulation should operate at full power for at least 4 hours of continuous charging or discharging time .
