This paper presents the design of current mode PI controller for single-phase PWM inverter. The controller is comprised of inductor current as the inner loop and output voltage as the outer feedback loop. The control design is carried out using Sisotool, which is provided in Matlab.
This control is based on the single phase inverter controlled by bipolar PWM Switching and lineal current control. The electrical scheme of the system is presented. The approach is widely explained. Simulations results of output voltage and current validate the impact of this method to determinate the appropriate control of the system.
2. Single-Phase PV Grid-Connected Inverter Control Strategy The output of the grid-connected inverter adopts the current control mode. Actually, the grid-connected system and the grid are AC sources and voltage sources in parallel. The output voltage of the inverter is automatically clamped to the grid voltage.
